I’m looking forward to trying out the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 lens I ordered today. I finally found a review of it, and it sounds good.
After reading a bunch of reviews of the Tamron 28-75, I’ve decided that it’ll replace my trusty Canon 28-80mm f/3.5-4.5.

D’oh, the Tamron can’t be delivered until after two weeks, while I’ll have to wait two months for the Sigma. Bummer. :-/
Choosing the Tamron IS a good idea indeed. It is said, however, that there is quite a spread in the qualitiy with these lenses: althoug great designwise there may be quite bad individual lenses. You’ll just have to test in the store…
